Download Shimeji: Screen Buddies

To get Shimeji: Screen Buddies on your phone, download the Android app from Google Play and choose an original mascot to add as your screen buddy.

You may be asked to allow an overlay/display permission so your buddy can appear on top of other apps while you use your phone.

How it works

  1. Open Google Play and search for “Shimeji: Screen Buddies”.
  2. Tap Install, then open the app when the download finishes.
  3. Add a mascot in-app and allow the requested overlay/display permission.
